Privacy Policy

Bardown Digital is a Klaviyo email marketing business for Shopify brands, owned and operated by John White (“Bardown Digital,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use bardowndigital.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: your name, email address and, if you choose to share it, your phone number.
• Business details you give us: your brand name, website, role, revenue range, ad spend and channels, how you run email today, your budget, how you heard about us, and anything you type into our booking form.
• Booking details: the time you book, reschedule or cancel a call, and the meeting link.
• Consent records: if you agree to calls and texts, we keep the exact wording you agreed to, the date and time, the page, your IP address and your browser type, so we can prove consent.
• How you found and used the site: the page you started on, the link or ad that brought you here (for example UTM tags), and, if our email platform already knows you, pages you visit and whether you started or finished the booking form. This is collected with cookies and similar tools from Klaviyo.

How we use it

• To schedule, prepare for and run your strategy session.
• To follow up with you by email, and by phone or text if you said yes to that.
• To send you emails about our services. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
• To understand which pages, posts and channels bring in the right brands, and to improve the site.
• To keep records we are legally required to keep, and to protect the site from spam and abuse.

Text messages and phone calls

If you give us your phone number and check the consent box, Jack White may call and text you about your strategy session and follow-ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of booking a call or buying anything.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in this policy, except with the service providers that deliver our messages for us.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run this site and our business, and only so they can do that job for us:

• Vercel, which hosts the website
• Supabase, which stores booking form submissions
• Klaviyo, which runs our email (and, in the future, text messages) and site tracking
• Cal.com, which handles scheduling
• Google, which provides our calendar, video calls, email and the website fonts

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or as part of selling or transferring the business.

Cookies

We use cookies from Klaviyo to recognize returning visitors who are already on our email list and to measure how the booking form performs. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to talk with you, work with you, or meet legal and record-keeping requirements. Consent records are kept for as long as we might need to show that you agreed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from emails using the link at the bottom of any email.
• Stop texts by replying STOP.
• Ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we have about you by emailing jackwhite@bardowndigital.com. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under your state’s privacy laws. We’ll honor them, and we won’t treat you differently for using them.

Security

We use reputable providers and limit who can access your information. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise absolute security.

Children

This site is for business owners and their teams. It isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
